Arizona League of Conservation Voters Committee for the Environment
The League’s advocacy and educational projects can only push our legislature and other Arizona elected officials so far. We know that many of our elected officials will never accept the fact that environmental issues must be confronted head on and that action must be taken to address climate change, secure open spaces and wilderness, clean up our air and water and protect Arizona’s natural heritage for generations to come.
That is where our political action committee comes in. When the AZLCV endorses candidates, our PAC takes those endorsements and converts them into direct political action. Our PAC contributes to candidates in the name of our membership and environmental supporters statewide, and executes independent expenditure campaigns, advocating for the election of environmentally responsible candidates.
AZLCV’s Committee for the Environment
The Arizona League of Conservation Voters (AZLCV) is Arizona’s largest statewide member-supported conservation group with thousands of members.
- Opposes environmental villains and works to replace them with environmentally responsible elected officials
- Supports and protects environmentally responsible candidates from attacks from anti-conservation forces
- Elevates the importance of the environment to the electorate and connects environmental supporters with friendly candidates

Your contribution will build our war chest for 2012 and get us 1 member closer to the 500 $10+ individual contributions that we need to re-qualify as Arizona’s 20th “Super PAC”. Super PAC status expands our contribution limits and sends a powerful message that Arizonans value our environment and are willing to put their money where their beliefs are. We are also asking our members to encourage friends and family to contribute to our PAC to get us even closer to our goal of 500 individual contributions.
